Having a grouping within Subject Area (such as datasets) that shows the score of the grouping (e.g. the dataset) within the Subject Area and allows to control the access to reports.
I flagged this as we “wont’” do based only on the description. 100% agree we need Reports by Dataset - and that is the Very Active goal of the work we are doing to bring in a greatly enhanced Dataset Design and focus our Data Quality, Governance, and Migration around this new data catalog.
Datasets are the primary “Business Object” to be managed in our catalog. Work is well underway, but it’s a very complex projects - goals Q2 2026 unless somethings changes in the roadmap.
