SDR Replication Setting “Refresh Retry Count” should default to no more than 3 retries.

SDR Replication Setting “Refresh Retry Count” should default to no more than 3 retries and not -1 or indefinitely. If it does not succeed in refreshing after three times there is little chance that it will. 1 or 2 would also be good options.

See screenshot below.

Prior to version 11.0.0.3 this setting did not exist, so it is a welcome addition. Timeouts are handled very discreetly in SDR so that if a query times out it will show as ERROR in the "Last Replication Status,” but it will continue to retry in the background. See Request:

https://syniti.featurebase.app/p/sdr-replication-setting-replication-status-executing-should-be-added

This has and could continue to cause major interruptions in connected systems with data pulls where timeouts or server disconnections occur. A job that fails should not continue to retry indefinitely as timeouts from the server or long running filters could cause serious impact on our customer’s legacy systems.
