Enhance Snapshot Management with new features

  • Ability to display table results within Snapshot Management

  • Ability to create a single automated refresh job without manually adding each table to an Orchestrate job. When you have 200+ tables to refresh, a manual table by table Orchestrate job is not scalable

    Adding:

    • Ability to overwrite the front end Snapshot Management table refresh status

    I have an example where a refresh executed from Snapshot Management (executed through SDR) did refresh all of the tables, but whatever happens at the end between SDR→ADMM to update the status icon failed. So looking on the front end it looks like the table didn’t refresh. Looking in SDR all looks good, and looking at the data in the table all looks good. But I have no way of ‘clearing out’ the red X status in Snapshot Management.

    (ticket #125779 opened for the status mismatch issue, but the ask here is to just be able to override the status value if needed)

    Adding:

    • Ability to group and execute subsets of tables. In my case the customer has asked to be able to refresh “All”, “Master Data Only”, “Transactional Data Only”

    I know Orchestrate and Replicate have features similar to this but having visibility directly in Snapshot Management for this specific task would be nice?
