The problem is the applications table is labour intensive to maintain, and users will always just add their required tables directly in snapshot management due to convenience and also because they probably wouldn’t have admin privileges to go the the applications screens.

Then the next time that we need to create a new tgt for a new target system there is a big problem with ensuring you have the same extracts configured.
