Agree - we plan to merge the concepts of Migrate Dataset Design into the Catalog technical datasets. This will make “Datasets” much more robust to support both Technical use cases (tables, views, queries, web endpoints, APIs) and the more Business Use Cases (business Objects, Reports, KPI definitions) in the same manner. At this time we will enhance Data Elements to be more robust to cover your request.
